Plastic coated pipes are suitable for use in buildings

Plastic coated pipes can also be used for dredging in buildings, and we need to pay attention to some issues when using plastic coated pipes to ensure proper use.

In the category of new types of pipes, pipes that can be used in building water supply are commonly referred to as water supply pipes in the industry. Depending on the material, there are differences in their names. For example, plastic coated pipes made of composite materials used in water supply are the water supply plastic coated steel pipes used in our factory. The pipe made of plastic material is called water supply plastic pipe.

The cold and hot water pipelines used in the water supply pipeline system should meet the following requirements.

1. Ensure that the water supply quality meets the national "Sanitary Standards for Drinking Water". The sanitary performance of pipes must meet the evaluation requirements of the "Safety Evaluation Standards for Drinking Water Transmission and Distribution Equipment and Protective Materials" (GB/T17219-1998).

2. The rated working pressure of the pipe material shall not be less than 1.0MPa, and the water pressure test requirement shall not be less than 1.5MPa, and it shall be able to withstand the pressure impact caused by water hammer. For the usage pressure of pipes, it can generally be based on the working pressure provided by the manufacturer, which is the long-term usage pressure.

For pipes with an outer diameter ≤ 90mm, the product design has considered a safety factor of 2.5; The product design also considers a safety factor of 2.0 for pipes with an outer diameter greater than 90mm. The short-term test pressure in the factory is 4.2 times the working pressure, and there is no need to divide it by the safety factor in the water supply and drainage design.

3. The rated working temperature of the conveying medium for building hot water pipes and heating pipelines shall not be less than 70 ℃, and the instantaneous higher working temperature shall be 95 ℃.

4. The service life and durability of plastic pipes used for building cold and hot water shall not be less than 50 years.

5. The connection method of pipelines is simple, easy to implement, and safe and reliable.

6. The pipes, fittings, supporting and hanging fixtures, and construction and installation equipment of the pipeline system should be fully equipped with accessories to meet the requirements of engineering construction, installation, and use.
